Do you currently have or have had a friend, boss, romantic partner, stranger, acquaintance or even a family member who constantly put you down and drained your energy? I certainly have!
They are charming. They appeal to your ego mind. Even if they are absolutely wrong, they will find excuses to justify their negative behavior. Sound familiar?
Conditional love is something that is far too common in our world. A parent will love their child only if they do what they expect them to do. A romantic partner will love their spouse only if they are making them feel good all the time. A boss will love their employee only if their performance is excellent.
The reason why we experience these types of relationships is not only so we can appreciate the rare unconditionally loving relationships that this life has to offer, but so we can also be aware of where we haven’t been loving ourselves.
And when I say loving ourselves I’m not suggesting that you become arrogant and superficial, but instead to give yourself the same exact love you have been trying to give to others throughout your life.
Give yourself the compliments, the confidence, and the approval. Take care of your body by choosing to eat healthier and making yourself presentable. LEAVE the toxic energy vampires who you’ve allowed to stay in your life for far too long. Do this by cutting off all contact with them and do whatever else it takes. DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES by saying you’ve tried but it’s not working. I guarantee you are not trying hard enough and there is a part of you that still wants to hold on out of fear. It may take some time, but if you are persistent and make an honest commitment to cut all ties with that person, you will make it happen. You can of course always set up a 1-on-1 coaching session with me if you are still struggling with this.
I also suggest you try a past life regression session. This can help pinpoint the karma that was created in a past life of yours. We can then do a “burning of the karmic contracts”, undoing of any vows that were made previously, and cut the cords all while in a gentle state of voluntary hypnosis.
Believe me, I know how incredibly hard it is to walk away from something you’ve invested so much time and energy into. You don’t want to feel as though you’ve wasted all your time for nothing. You don’t feel like starting all over again with someone new. You are scared you will regret your decision to leave this person. Been there done that and I can tell you that you will regret it if you choose to stay. A relationship may have its’ ups and downs, but it shouldn’t make you feel like you are constantly being suffocated and abused.
Karmic soulmates are those people who we have chosen to call in from a past life in order to help us overcome our challenges in this life. To help point us in the right direction that eventually leads to unconditional love. So we may break free of the metaphorical chains that keep us in an energy of taking without giving back. To destroy the mindset of thinking that if we give we must always receive something in return in that same moment. To see that the help we get in this life is a sheer bonus and that we mostly have the power to transform it to the way we see fit. I personally believe that God, angels, and other spiritual beings who exist in other dimensions will help us exactly when we need the help.
If life was always easy we would never appreciate what we have (including our personal accomplishments. And one of the biggest accomplishments I think we can have is to go from being careless, thoughtless, and reckless into being caring, thoughtful, and mature. This along with loving ourselves enough not to settle for less than what we deserve will take us to the road of endless happiness. We will never be perfect, but we can always strive to be better.
